Hey girls,
I just wanted to write about what life is really like as entrepreneur especially when it seems like this season isn’t going in your favour. A lot of entrepreneurs don’t talk about these times or they write a book a speak on it once they have ‘made it’…. Don’t get me wrong I’m not dismissing there struggles but I have always felt in these times I need the raw truth.
If this season isn’t going your way the most important thing I would advise is, study your industry! Learn about things you have overlooked and felt that wouldn’t benefit you. I believe there is so much knowledge in the unknown. The world moves so fast and we often find that what worked for us a few year ago may not work anymore. So read up! Watch loads of videos and see what’s happening in your industry as it might just be that your methods are outdated.
I would also advise seeking help from professionals! Sometimes we can’t do it all. There are people trained experts in something you struggle with. Spend the money and get help! Look at it this way if your car broke down you would call a mechanic right! A professional ‘car fixer’ . The same applies for your business! It needs maintenance! It needs love. Think of the professionals as your businesses god parents. I think you get the idea!
I would also like to touch on you as person! Have you worked on yourself recently? Sometimes ‘we’ can hold our businesses back by not believing in ourselves especially if you’ve had a rough patch in business lately. Rough patches are normal it’s about how you sustain your business through that time. Don’t give up or go silent, keep making sure your business is still active as you never know when someone may need your product or service. If you go silent it’s so easy for your business to be overlooked especially when social media moves so fast.
